Record

Records are important in almost all types of computer programming and especially in cybersecurity. Records uniquely identify a user or machine and can be used to track activity, enforce policy, and identify suspicious behavior. For example, records can be used to detect malicious activity on a computer system or to find out if a user gave valid credentials when they logged in.
