Output device

Output Devices are electronic devices that are used to display, print, or otherwise present data generated by a computer or other electronic device. Examples of output devices include monitors, printers, speakers, and headphones.

Monitors are electronic visual displays that receive output signals from a computer and display them so they can be seen by the user. Monitors can be either cathode ray tubes (CRTs) or flatscreen liquid crystal displays (LCDs). LCD monitors are thinner and more common than CRTs.

Headphones are used to listen to sound signals from a computer or other device. Unlike speakers, headphones are connected directly to the output port on the device and are usually worn on the user’s head.
