Extended Validation SSL Certificate (EV SSL)

An Extended Validation SSL Certificate (EV SSL) is a type of digital security certificate provided by a Certificate Authority (CA) that grants enhanced security credentials of a website when communicating online. The website must satisfy the extended authentication requirements of the Certificate Authority’s Extended Validation Standard in order to obtain such a certificate.
