Edge browser

Edge Browser, also referred to as Microsoft Edge, is a web browser developed by Microsoft and included in Windows 10. It was first released in 2015 as a replacement for Internet Explorer. It is based on the Chromium browser engine, the same technology that Google Chrome uses.

Edge Browser allows users to surf the web in a safe and secure environment. It features the world-class Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, which checks every website visited to help protect users from malicious content. It also offers InPrivate browsing, which allows users to browse the web without saving data or searching history. Moreover, it includes integrated support for streaming media, the ability to save webpages for offline viewing, and Flash blocking. Additionally, Edge offers the ability to share webpages directly to social media.

Edge Browser is continually being improved and updated. It now includes support for the Chromium-based extensions and apps for enhanced productivity. Additionally, features such as WebVR and the ability to customize the UI with themes are supported. Furthermore, Edge now includes Reading View, an environment designed to optimize reading webpages.

Edge Browser is available for free on Windows 10 and macOS, as well as Android and iOS devices. It is also available for download on Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.
