Computer network

A computer network is a collection of interconnected computers that can exchange information, resources, and services. They are also commonly referred to as networks. Network security is a major concern, as it is vital to protect networks against unauthorized access, as well as malicious attacks. Firewall, encryption, and authentication are important technologies used to protect networks.

Computer networks are used extensively across many industries, from everyday consumer applications to business enterprise networks. They are used for tasks such as information sharing, software applications, multimedia storage and distribution, and connecting people all over the world.
